Join two of LA’s most illustrious jazz artists and USC faculty members for a unique, community-driven experience. Vocalist Kathleen Grace and pianist Josh Nelson have designed a two-day intensive jazz camp for singers of all ages. This program offers an in-depth exploration of the artistry of jazz performance, providing the essential tools and techniques to enhance a singer’s musicianship and ability to create inspired music with instrumental counterparts

“After nearly 20 years of teaching at USC, I sometimes observe that vocalists not enrolled in a 4-year music school frequently don’t have access to all the areas of emphasis, fun practice tools, and historical depth that these jazz programs offer. This camp is a way to change that!”
– Kathleen Grace

“I’ve had the pleasure of accompanying a wide range of vocalists for 25 years now (including the great Natalie Cole for 6 years), and I’m thrilled to share my experience with those who are interested in developing many aspects of their vocal approach and performances!”
- Josh Nelson
